Electronic Technician

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities including the design, testing, modification, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems and experimental circuitry.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, and written or verbal descriptions to perform testing and checkout functions.
• Perform operational tests and fault isolation on various systems and equipment.
• Assist in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions and resolve technical issues.
• Assist in the design, construction, and testing of specialized test equipment.
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus to complete tasks.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of related experience in electronic or electromechanical technician roles.
• Proven ability to work effectively from technical schematics and diagrams.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, including oscilloscopes and signal generators.
• Strong fault isolation and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to apply technical knowledge to complete a wide range of moderately difficult tasks.
