Electronic Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain the reliability of electro-electronic equipment in the aluminum can manufacturing process through scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Execute corrective electrical and electronic maintenance on manufacturing machinery to ensure operational availability.
• Perform corrective maintenance on general electrical installations using electrical schemes and plant layouts.
• Propose process improvements by developing electrical projects for factory automation and power distribution.
• Operate substations and generator/compressor controls during power supply failures following safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace following 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize processes and prevent accidents.
• Comply with all safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations and procedures.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Electronics, Electrotechnics, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or Automation.
• Active registration with the Conselho Federal dos Técnicos Industriais (CFT).
• Proven experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Proficiency with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) hardware/software and frequency inverters (Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Schneider).
• Knowledge of DC drives, AC/DC motor sizing, electrical commands, and instrumentation.
• Knowledge of NR 10 and NR10 SEP safety standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic technical English.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools.
