Electronic Security Systems Technician III

Responsibilities

• Perform on-demand services, inventory tracking, and preventive maintenance on electronic security systems including PACS, VSS, and IDS
• Test, calibrate, repair, and modify control and instrumentation systems at onsite locations
• Handle nonroutine and heavy labor tasks related to cabling, door hardware, power, security consoles, and life safety devices
• Operate trucks, hand tools, light power tools, and aerial man-lifts
• Maintain accurate logs of activities and prepare field and office reports
• Work independently to manage assignments and maintain mission-critical security systems

Requirements

• US citizenship
• 3+ years of experience working on security systems
• Ability to pass a Tier 2/DOJ background check
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work at high elevations and in confined spaces
• Ability to lift and carry 30+ pounds
• Willingness to travel up to three hours to answer service tickets
• Availability for on-call shifts, including after hours, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant background in low voltage electronics, physical security, and access control
• Manufacturer certifications such as Commend Core Level, Radionix (Bosch) G Series, IQ Sight (Bosch) BVMS, or Hirsch Velocity
• High school diploma or equivalent
