Electronic Security Systems Technician III

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inventory tracking, and on-demand services for electronic security systems including PACS, VSS, and IDS
• Test, calibrate, repair, and modify control and instrumentation systems at onsite locations
• Operate trucks, hand tools, light power tools, and aerial man-lifts
• Maintain appropriate logs of activities and prepare field and office reports
• Handle nonroutine and heavy labor tasks related to cabling, door hardware, power, and security consoles
• Work independently to manage assignments and ensure mission-critical security systems are protected

Requirements

• US citizenship
• 3+ years of experience working on security systems
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a Tier 2/DOJ background check
• Ability to work at high elevations and lift/carry 30+ pounds
• Willingness to travel up to three hours to answer service tickets
• Availability for on-call shifts, including after hours, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in confined spaces and under inclement weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant background in low voltage electronics, physical security, and access control
• Manufacturer certifications such as Commend Core Level, Radionix G Series, IQ Sight BVMS, or Hirsch Velocity
• High school diploma or equivalent
