Electronic Machine Builder

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electronic devices and assemblies using engineering specifications, prints, and layouts
• Check and adjust for balance, alignment, tension, spacing, and physical dimensions
• Use manual and automated mechanical, electrical, and optical checking equipment
• Calculate raw data and calibrate assemblies to achieve required final specifications
• Analyze and diagnose defects to determine necessary methods of repair
• Disassemble, replace parts, and reassemble devices to complete repairs
• Perform electronic troubleshooting consistent with required schooling levels
• Maintain a safe and efficient work area and participate in continuous improvement processes

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Two or more classes of progressive electronics training from an accredited college or university (e.g., Intro to Electronics I and II); transcripts must be provided
• U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected status under asylum/refugee status) due to export control laws
