Electronic & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, and vapor control systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform preventive maintenance on electrical and electronic components.
• Install and configure PLCs, control systems, network hardware, and instrumentation.
• Conduct board-level and component-level troubleshooting and repairs.
• Use PC-based maintenance management systems to update work orders and track equipment history.
• Provide after-hours support for terminal operations, including emergency troubleshooting and system recovery.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and contractors to support installations and resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficiency with Windows-based PCs and mobile technology.
• Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to support various locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical, instrumentation, or terminal operations.
• Technical training or a degree in a related field.
• Experience with PLC programming and terminal operations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• HAZMAT driving endorsement.
