About the role
Responsibilities
- Select, evaluate, and approve active and passive electronic components to meet design and reliability requirements
- Define and support component qualification, testing, and validation activities
- Manage component lifecycle risks, including obsolescence, second sourcing, and supply continuity
- Provide technical guidance and component alternatives to design teams
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve technical issues and improve performance
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Maintain component data and documentation using Siemens EDM or equivalent systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Strong knowledge of active and passive electronic components
- Experience in component selection, qualification, and lifecycle management
- Familiarity with Siemens EDM or similar component management tools
- Understanding of REACH and RoHS compliance regulations
- Ability to work effectively within global cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and logical problem-solving skills
