About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide process engineering support to sales and production, including DFM feedback, fixture/tool input, and pricing risk mitigation
- Operate and troubleshoot SMT and selective solder equipment to minimize downtime
- Coordinate production support activities such as programming, profiles, and rework
- Identify, recommend, and implement equipment and software improvements to achieve key business objectives
- Execute product-level process design and redesign for new and existing products
- Interact with customers to resolve assembly exceptions and implement Engineering Change Orders
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance on defect root cause analysis and corrective action
- Manage production scheduling and preventive maintenance activities
Requirements
- Experience in electronic assembly and PCBA manufacturing environments
- SMT operation and troubleshooting capability
- Selective solder operation support knowledge
- Familiarity with data management and preventive maintenance in manufacturing
- Customer-facing communication skills for process capabilities and feedback
- Ability to support new product introduction and production scheduling
