Electronic Assembler

Responsibilities

• Solder electronic components, wires, and parts to printed circuit boards (PCBs)
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly
• Perform wire cutting, stripping, tinning, and crimping using hand or automated tools
• Route wires and assemble subcomponents, harnesses, and wire bundles
• Conduct visual inspections for compliance with IPC-WHMA-A-620 standards
• Perform continuity checks and assist engineers with testing and repairs
• Assemble microcircuits requiring fine hand assembly under a microscope
• Maintain accurate records of activity and configuration control documentation

Requirements

• Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident/Green Card Holder)
• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of soldering experience, specifically with THT and SMT hand soldering practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong mechanical skills and hand-eye coordination
• Familiarity with various connectors, wires, and pins
• Ability to perform delicate manual assembly tasks
• Basic computer skills and high attention to detail
