Electromedical Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform regular monitoring, evaluation, and maintenance of medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards
• Conduct medical equipment calibration according to established schedules and protocols
• Create and maintain accurate equipment maintenance records, including checklists and reports
• Assess functionality and viability of medical equipment and recommend necessary repairs or replacements
• Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers to ensure timely repairs, upgrades, and support

Requirements

• Diploma in Electromedical Technology (D3) or equivalent
• Active Electromedical Technician Registration Certificate (STR)
• Proficiency in maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of medical equipment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to create and maintain accurate records
• Effective communication skills for team collaboration
