About the role
Responsibilities
- Integrate electrical systems for system testing and evaluation
- Support integrated testing and fielding operations for flight systems
- Manage and maintain a light electrical laboratory
- Interface with external vendors for system fabrication
- Assist with procurement and logistics for systems development and deployment
- Contribute to the design and realization of next-generation electronic, avionic, and computer systems
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to acquire and maintain a DOE security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant associate's or bachelor's degree
- Hands-on experience in the development of electrical and mechanical systems (e.g., soldering, cable fabrication, electrical chassis builds)
- Experience with Sandia procurement processes (P-Card, JIT, PR/PO)
- Proficiency with tools such as Excel and MATLAB for calculations and data analysis
- Active US government security clearance
