Electromechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and vacuum systems for industrial machinery
• Use advanced trades mathematics, complicated drawings, specifications, and precision measuring instruments
• Proficiently use DMMs, Meggers, data logging instrumentation, and other typical measuring devices
• Work with various sensors including temperature, flow, pressure, voltage, and current
• Utilize technical software for PLC programming, VFD setup, troubleshooting, and commissioning
• Repair instrumentation and controllers in a fast-paced, demanding manufacturing environment

Requirements

• Accredited apprenticeship or a 2-year technical college degree in electronics (analog and digital)
• 1-3 years of previous electromechanical experience
• Training in electrical safe work practices with an emphasis on NFPA 70E
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
