About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze high-speed digital and RF signal delivery systems, including custom connectors, cables, PCBs, and interposers.
  • Support product development from concept through production, ensuring signal integrity and reliability for interfaces up to 224 Gbps.
  • Perform signal integrity analysis, simulation, verification, and characterization.
  • Develop requirements, design documentation, and design verification plans.
  • Provide data-driven risk assessments and technical reports to leadership.
  • Manage vendor selection and relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including packaging, PCB layout, mechanical, and electrical engineering.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in signal integrity and high-speed electromechanical design.
  • Strong understanding of electromagnetic wave theory, transmission line theory, and impedance matching.
  • Proficiency with signal and power integrity simulation tools such as Ansys or Cadence.
  • Experience with mechanical CAD packages, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Hands-on experience using lab equipment including oscilloscopes, TDR, VNA, and PNA.
  • Familiarity with PCB layout tools and fabrication processes.
