About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex electromechanical systems for nuclear product qualification and testing
  • Provide in-depth product support and training to employees, customers, and industry partners for existing electromechanical test equipment
  • Partner with Test Engineers and Assembly Supervisors to provide expert support to technicians
  • Manage projects from concept inception through prototyping and integration
  • Identify continual improvement opportunities and participate in CI initiatives
  • Interface with electronics suppliers and service providers
  • Leverage database tools and other programs to manage and analyze test data

Requirements

  • BS in a relevant engineering discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in an applicable role or field
  • Experience designing customer electromechanical systems
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles
  • Ability to travel to customer locations, including international travel
  • Good communication skills for interacting with international partners and customers
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of electronic components and test equipment (scopes, meters, sensors, signal generators, etc.)
  • Familiarity with ASME Section II, III, and VIII or other nuclear industry codes
  • Experience with safety relief valves or related equipment
  • Proficiency with CAD software, preferably Solidworks
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills
