About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, validate, and certify gas turbine engine electrical and electronic control systems and associated components
- Review, evaluate, and develop supplier designs for powered electronic and passive electrical accessories
- Define functional, operational, physical, and qualification requirements for engine electronic controls, sensors, and effectors
- Support component and system validation test activities, including electromagnetic tests and test plan execution
- Review and interpret test data produced during component and engine validation testing
- Generate top-level certification reports for submittal to national and foreign airworthiness certification authorities
- Provide technical support to suppliers for production transitions and to the aftermarket sector for field issues
- Drive continuous improvement to organizational processes based on product development and in-service experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5-7 years of experience, OR a Master's degree with 2-3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of electronic design principles applicable to an aerospace environment
- Proven analytical thinking and systems thinking skills
- Experience with electronic control system design, sensors, and actuators

- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Results-oriented mindset
- Experience in engine electronic control units (ECUs) or similar complex aerospace systems
