Electro/Mechanical Aerospace Controls System Analyst

Responsibilities

• Design, validate, and certify gas turbine engine electrical and electronic control systems and associated components
• Review, evaluate, and develop supplier designs for powered electronic and passive electrical accessories
• Define functional, operational, physical, and qualification requirements for engine electronic controls, sensors, and effectors
• Support component and system validation test activities, including electromagnetic tests and test plan execution
• Review and interpret test data produced during component and engine validation testing
• Generate top-level certification reports for submittal to national and foreign airworthiness certification authorities
• Provide technical support to suppliers for production transitions and to the aftermarket sector for field issues
• Drive continuous improvement to organizational processes based on product development and in-service experience

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5-7 years of experience, OR a Master's degree with 2-3 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of electronic design principles applicable to an aerospace environment
• Proven analytical thinking and systems thinking skills
• Experience with electronic control system design, sensors, and actuators
