Electromechanic Operator (High Voltage/Strong Current)

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous electricity supply for production units and external customers
• Perform primary interventions on electrical equipment and prepare equipment for maintenance
• Adjust operating states within the electrical network
• Identify non-standard operating situations and implement appropriate solutions
• Coordinate work groups performing tasks on electrical equipment
• Conduct regular inspections of workplaces and equipment while adhering to safety and fire protection measures
• Perform testing and monitoring of electrical equipment, such as measuring insulation status for LV and HV motors and transformers
• Manage switchgear at LV substations, HV cabinet/cubicle switchgear at transformer stations, and busbar systems at main transformer stations

Requirements

• High school diploma with an electrotechnical focus
• Professional competence according to § 22 (decree 508/2009)
• Driving license group B and active driving status
• Practical experience in the electrical field
• Willingness to learn and increase professional qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with High Voltage (HV) equipment
• Professional competence according to § 23
