About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain and diagnose low and medium voltage electrical systems, including motor control centers (MCC) up to 400 HP and electrical substations.
- Perform industrial mechanical maintenance on pumps, bearings, seals, transmissions, and lubrication systems.
- Execute electrical tests including insulation resistance, line continuity, voltage/amperage measurements, and phase angle analysis.
- Utilize diagnostic tools such as Multimeters, Amperimeters, and Meggers to ensure equipment reliability.
- Interpret and read complex electrical and mechanical diagrams.
- Adhere strictly to industrial safety standards, including LOTOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), working at heights, and confined space protocols.
Requirements
- Technical high school diploma in Electromechanics, Electricity, Mechanics, or a related field.
- Proven experience with low and medium voltage systems and electrical motor diagnosis.
- Strong knowledge of industrial mechanics (pumps, bearings, seals, and alignment).
- Proficiency with electrical measurement and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with PPE and LOTOTO standards.

- Recent training in industrial safety topics.
- Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment.
