Electrolyzer Stack Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support documentation, maintenance, and verification of electrolyzer stack and subcomponent requirements
• Develop and maintain Design Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (DFMEA)
• Perform engineering analyses to verify stack and subcomponent designs
• Generate and maintain 3D models and engineering drawings
• Support development and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Support development of Design Verification Plans and Reports (DVP&R)
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to support production activities
• Contribute to technology development focused on improving stack performance and cost

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
• 0–6 years of engineering experience in product development or manufacturing
• Experience creating 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD tools
• Understanding of GD&T and tolerance analysis
• Knowledge of DFMEA methodologies
• Experience with CFD and/or FEA
• Knowledge of seal and gasket design principles
• Fundamental understanding of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and mechanics of materials

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electrochemical technologies such as electrolyzers, fuel cells, or batteries
