About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform testing and inspection of electro-mechanical aerospace products
- Utilize specialized test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, frequency generators, and multi-meters
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all testing activities
- Assist engineering personnel with troubleshooting, modification, and repair of non-conforming units
- Conduct calibration, in-line inspection, and final inspection of assemblies
- Perform maintenance on test production equipment and fixtures, including soldering tasks
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to implement effective solutions
Requirements
- Associate's degree in electronics or equivalent military training
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an electro-mechanical or electronic test environment
- Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot using schematics
- Proficiency with test, inspection, and calibration equipment
- Hands-on manufacturing or shop floor experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access)
- Soldering ability and mechanical inclination
- Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by ITAR regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with products containing armature/hairspring technology, coils, magnetic fields, or spindle designs
- Knowledge of machining principles and methods
- Experience assisting in the development of test procedures
