Electro/Mechanical Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and inspection of electro-mechanical aerospace products
• Utilize specialized test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, frequency generators, and multi-meters
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all testing activities
• Assist engineering personnel with troubleshooting, modification, and repair of non-conforming units
• Conduct calibration, in-line inspection, and final inspection of assemblies
• Perform maintenance on test production equipment and fixtures, including soldering tasks
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to implement effective solutions

Requirements

• Associate's degree in electronics or equivalent military training
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an electro-mechanical or electronic test environment
• Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot using schematics
• Proficiency with test, inspection, and calibration equipment
• Hands-on manufacturing or shop floor experience
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access)
• Soldering ability and mechanical inclination
• Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by ITAR regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with products containing armature/hairspring technology, coils, magnetic fields, or spindle designs
• Knowledge of machining principles and methods
• Experience assisting in the development of test procedures
