Electro-Mechanical Technician/Assembler

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and qualify machine assemblies and sub-assemblies
• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting during machine build and debug
• Maintain high workmanship standards, quality checks, and accurate documentation
• Support lean manufacturing, standard work, and continuous improvement practices
• Communicate effectively with team members and support functions to meet production goals
• Update issue tracking and support on-time delivery commitments

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 1+ year of special machine assembly experience
• 1+ year of mechanical troubleshooting experience
• 1+ year of electrical troubleshooting experience
• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of standard work procedures, 5S, work cells, and waste reduction
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience with SAP or another large ERP system

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade school training or an associate degree in a technical discipline
• Experience in the machine tool or CMM industry
• Familiarity with quality assurance and performance qualification processes
