About the role
Responsibilities
- Build, test, and qualify machine assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting during machine build and debug
- Maintain high workmanship standards, quality checks, and accurate documentation
- Support lean manufacturing, standard work, and continuous improvement practices
- Communicate effectively with team members and support functions to meet production goals
- Update issue tracking and support on-time delivery commitments
Requirements
- High school diploma
- 1+ year of special machine assembly experience
- 1+ year of mechanical troubleshooting experience
- 1+ year of electrical troubleshooting experience
- Experience in a lean manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of standard work procedures, 5S, work cells, and waste reduction
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with SAP or another large ERP system
Preferred Qualifications
- Trade school training or an associate degree in a technical discipline
- Experience in the machine tool or CMM industry
- Familiarity with quality assurance and performance qualification processes
