Electro-Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist other technicians in the repair and maintenance of industrial equipment
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems, including control components
• Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components such as seals, gaskets, and bearings
• Troubleshoot complex electrical/electronic problems involving networks, PC logic control, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
• Perform routine maintenance and quick repairs to support production operations in a highly automated environment

Requirements

• Enrolled in or completion of a Trade/Technical School certification
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical troubleshooting and repair
• 3+ years of experience in electrical troubleshooting and repair
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade/Technical School certification completed
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Experience with robotics
• Experience with controls and networking troubleshooting
