About the role
Responsibilities
- Respond to and repair machinery on all production calls for machine breakdowns on multiple manufacturing lines
- Perform all assigned Preventative and Predictive Maintenance tasks in a timely manner
- Ensure all repairs and corrective maintenance are verified and properly documented in the CMMS system
- Fabricate, modify, and repair parts using machine shop equipment including welders, plasma cutters, and drill presses
- Monitor equipment parts and determine minimum/maximum inventory levels for equipment and facility support systems
- Collaborate with Production, Process Engineering, and Product Development on quality issues and specifications
- Maintain housekeeping and safety compliance in the Maintenance shop following cGMP requirements
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a Maintenance Technician in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Electrical troubleshooting skills to the component level
- Proficiency with multimeters and amp probes for equipment troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures
- Strong mechanical skills including experience with pumps, motors, belts, and conveyors
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and machine drawings
- Experience operating machine shop equipment such as welders and plasma cutters
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 300 lbs
