Electro-Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical components including motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and bearings
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems such as cylinders, valves, solenoids, and pumps
• Perform welding and fabrication repairs using MIG and stick welding techniques
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, multimeters, and meggers
• Install and align new equipment using hoists, jacks, and precision tools
• Support and troubleshoot VFD drives (SEW, Siemens, Lenze, Allen Bradley), PLCs, and sensors
• Document preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and scissor lifts as needed

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in electromechanics, industrial maintenance, or a related field
• Proficient electrical troubleshooting skills (480vAC, 120vAC, 24vDC, and 4-20mA systems)
• Experience with MIG and stick welding and general fabrication
• Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics and diagrams
• Experience with hydraulic system repair and building hydraulic hoses
• Proficiency with power tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment like ohmmeters and oscilloscopes
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 80 pounds occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical certificates or equivalent formal training
