About the role

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a chemical manufacturing environment
  • Diagnose and repair motors, drives, PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, conveyors, pumps, mixers, and automated production systems
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to improve uptime and equipment reliability
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation, control devices, and electrical components
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings
  • Follow safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including LOTO and hazardous energy control
  • Partner with production, engineering, and maintenance teams on continuous improvement and root cause corrective actions

Requirements

  • Associate degree or technical certification in a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of electro-mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing, processing, or industrial settings
  • Experience troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, motors, instrumentation, and automated equipment
  • Strong understanding of 120V–480V electrical systems, mechanical systems, and industrial safety practices
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond to equipment breakdowns
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs
  • Availability to work 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM CST
