Electro-Mech Technician II

Responsibilities

• Design, assemble, install, test, calibrate, and repair electromechanical devices used in electrical signal conversion
• Perform maintenance and operation of electrical, hydraulic, thermal, and pneumatic mechanical equipment
• Troubleshoot and investigate malfunctioning pneumatic, hydraulic, or electromechanical measuring devices and servo systems
• Assist in the development of laboratory methods, procedures, and equipment to achieve project objectives
• Monitor facility systems using gauges, sensors, and telemetry data, recording results in electronic formats
• Adhere to standardized operating procedures and safety protocols within laboratory and cleanroom environments

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 4 years of related experience in electromechanical fields
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques, methods, and equipment
• Knowledge of cryogenics and high-pressure systems
• Must be a non-smoker to meet Class 10 Cleanroom requirements
• Ability to operate and handle basic hand-held and power tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree
• Experience with metals and composites such as stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, copper, and Teflon
• Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and contamination control
• Experience with machine tools including lathes, mills, and bandsaws
• Knowledge of Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) and reverse osmosis systems
