Electrician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems at various restaurants to ensure continuous food service operations
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair electrical systems, assemblies, and components
• Install receptacles, switches, and conduit, and perform tasks such as lamping and resetting breakers
• Evaluate job scopes, resolve necessary parts or materials, and order through authorized vendors
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation using the CMMS (MAXIMO) work order system

Requirements

• Ability to maintain food preparation and holding equipment under HACCP and food safety guidelines
• Proficiency in troubleshooting gas and steam systems used in commercial kitchen equipment
• Technical competence in reading blueprints, flowcharts, schematics, and engineering documents
• Strong knowledge of circuits, motors, and the National Electric Code
• Expertise using hand tools, meters, gauges, and electrical test equipment to measure current, voltage, and amperage
• Physical stamina to climb (up to 200 ft.), bend, kneel, and lift/push/pull equipment up to 100 lbs.
• Availability to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd), including weekends and holidays
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years of professional electrical experience
• Background in trade school or a formal apprenticeship program
