Electrician Technician

Responsibilities

• Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings
• Install conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables in compliance with electrical codes
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical repairs
• Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware
• Connect electrical systems to powerlines
• Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation
• Inspect electrical systems to determine repair needs
• Replace conduit, wiring, and circuit breakers as needed
• Verify compliance and functionality of installations
• Maintain workflow schedules to meet productivity objectives
• Coordinate with other trades on site
• Maintain a clean workspace and ensure safety is paramount on all job sites

Requirements

• Ability to read blueprints
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• Proficiency in the use of test meters and diagnostic equipment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
