Electrician

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation works as part of kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programmes within social housing properties
• Install and replace sockets, switches, lighting, extractor fans, cookers, and associated electrical components
• Complete first-fix and second-fix electrical works to a high standard
• Work safely and in accordance with current electrical regulations and site procedures
• Liaise effectively with site management, residents, and other trades on site
• Ensure works are completed within programme timescales and to client expectations
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area and demonstrate a professional approach at all times
• Accurately complete any required job sheets and installation documentation

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role within the Social Housing sector
• Valid CSCS card
• Tools - 110v or battery-operated
• Driving licence and access to own vehicle (van preferred)
• Asbestos Awareness Training Certificate
