Electrician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and commission electrical systems including motor circuits, switchgear, motor control centers, and UPS systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities as part of the Mechanical Integrity Program.
• Utilize electrical one-line drawings and schematics to guide repairs and installations.
• Execute Lock out/Tag out procedures and adhere to all industrial safety processes and electrical safe work practices.
• Maintain required safety and development training per site plans.
• Support Turnaround (TAR) activities as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minnesota Master or Journey worker Electrician License.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant trade experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) required upon hire.
• Ability to work a 4-10 schedule (Monday-Thursday) including some weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment written test, hands-on test, and physical.
• Ability to wear appropriate PPE and work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
