Electrician

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical tasks to a high standard, following Part P regulations, during first and second fix stages
• Install electrical systems in kitchens and bathrooms, and assist with electric heating and communal lighting projects
• Carry out electrical repairs, demonstrating excellent fault-finding skills
• Conduct relevant testing and certification upon completion of works
• Complete and submit all required paperwork or electronic forms accurately and on time
• Participate in an on-call rota approximately once every 10 weeks

Requirements

• Fully qualified with NVQ level 3
• Full driving license (must be able to drive manual transmission vehicles)
• Strong problem-solving skills and basic IT literacy
• Ability to work field-based with regular travel across the Somerset region
• Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available)

Preferred Qualifications

• 18th Edition qualification
• City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent
