Electrician

Responsibilities

• Perform machine repair, electrical, HVAC, and machine operation following OSHA and company standards
• Troubleshoot and maintain crystal growth furnaces, production machinery, and support equipment
• Work with voltages up to 640 DC and 480 AC, as well as low voltage control circuits
• Maintain fire alarm, building access, and Ethernet network systems
• Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate process equipment using various control systems, motor controls, and VFDs
• Install EMT, IMC, and RMC conduit and electrical equipment per NEC requirements
• Complete electrical load calculations for new installations and upgrades
• Use IR cameras for diagnosing and preventing electrical equipment failures
• Participate in an on-call rotation for nights and weekends

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
• 3 years of industrial controls experience
• 2 years of equipment maintenance experience
• Journeyman licenses
• Valid Driver license
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, sketches, and equipment service manuals
• Proficiency in shop math, algebra, and trigonometry
• Ability to use a full face-negative pressure respirator or PAPR device
