Electrician

Responsibilities

• Install, alter, repair, and maintain various electrical systems and related equipment
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical code specifications
• Plan layout and illustration of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot and repair equipment, including disassembling and reassembling machinery
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and defects to ensure code compliance
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program for plant equipment

Requirements

• Journeyman Certification (442A ticket)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an industrial electrician (3 years preferred)
• Knowledge of and experience with Hydraulic or Pneumatic equipment
• Strong understanding of PLC troubleshooting and programming skills
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Instrumentation ticket
