Electrician L4

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electric and electronic maintenance inspections, diagnosis, and corrective actions.
• Diagnose and repair issues with motor controls, including contactors, starters, overloads, and relays.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), including parameter adjustments and fault code interpretation.
• Troubleshoot faults in PLC controlled machinery by checking field devices, wiring, and voltages.
• Install and run various types of conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC, flexible) using hand and power benders.
• Pull wire, terminate connections, and install electrical components, panels, and junction boxes.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and testing to minimize equipment downtime.
• Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and megohmmeters to test continuity, voltage, and insulation resistance.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, one-line diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Commit to health, safety, and environmental policies and maintain a clean, ordered workplace.

Requirements

• Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing motor controls and electrical components.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting VFDs and PLC-controlled machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with conduit installation and electrical component termination.
• Skilled in the use of professional diagnostic tools like multimeters and megohmmeters.
• Strong commitment to industrial safety standards and procedures.
