Electrician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in a timely manner
• Assist maintenance and production staff in determining and eliminating root causes for unscheduled downtime
• Test for, locate, and repair electrical malfunctions
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic equipment and systems
• Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as an electrician in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and understand electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and diagrams
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, HVAC, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic systems
• Thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electronics or a related field
