Electrician Journeyworker

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance, installation, and repairs on industrial and mining equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and sketches for plant and quarry equipment
• Install, adjust, and maintain electrical equipment, gauges, and instruments
• Troubleshoot and repair circuits, wiring, motors, starters, controllers, generators, and switchboards
• Disassemble, rewind, clean, and reassemble motors
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet manufacturer standards
• Coordinate electrical needs, repairs, and modifications within the production environment

Requirements

• 5 years of electrical maintenance experience
• Experience with power distribution up to 4,160 volts
• Experience with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and digital drives
• High school graduate (Associate degree in electrical maintenance preferred)
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in aggregate, cement, or heavy industrial operations
• Bilingual skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP experience
