Electrician III

Responsibilities

• Fabricate wiring harnesses and install electrical components, circuit modules, relays, and diodes into various assemblies and chassis units.
• Perform mechanical assembly and wiring of electrical control panels, AC/DC drives, motors, and other devices.
• Design and fabricate electrical boxes for component installation.
• Use hand and power tools to drill, edge fill, fit, and assemble detail parts, including cutting openings in bodies to accommodate wiring.
• Read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Inspect installations for proper integrity and use precision tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Maintain necessary documentation and keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Apply advanced technical skills to work independently with minimal supervision, potentially providing instruction or leading a group.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least two years of experience in an equivalent position.
• Strong knowledge of 12V as well as 120/240V systems.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work overhead and perform tasks involving standing, squatting, climbing, twisting, bending, and stooping.
