Electrician III

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on large-scale mining equipment, such as excavators and loaders.
• Disassemble, evaluate, repair defects, and replace damaged parts in electrical components.
• Execute HMI (Human-Machine Interface) downloads and perform cleaning and restoration of electrical and electronic components.
• Manage work orders (OS) and permits (PT), recording service history, materials used, and time spent.
• Conduct tests and minor maneuvers on surface mobile equipment when authorized.
• Maintain electrical outlets, road lighting, and perform installation and connection of generators.
• Execute equipment lockout/tagout procedures using specific electrician padlocks to ensure safety.
• Adhere to all Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma completed.
• Vocational training/professional course in a relevant field.
• Availability to work on a 04x04 shift rotation.
• Proficiency in using electrical tools and reading/interpreting electrical diagrams.
• Driver's License (Category B) is desirable.
• Residence in or proximity to Conceição do Mato Dentro, Serro, Congonhas do Norte, Dom Joaquim, or Alvorada de Minas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance of heavy machinery (yellow line equipment).
