Electrician II

Responsibilities

• Assemble under-dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and various electrical components
• Program lighting systems according to engineering specifications
• Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry
• Test products to ensure performance meets required specifications
• Read technical specs to ensure vehicles are built according to design
• Perform functionality checks on airhorns, sirens, light packages, flash patterns, and door locks
• Identify and resolve quality issues

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, layouts, and written/verbal instructions
• Understanding of both 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry
• Proficiency with common hand tools and power tools (e.g., drills, screw guns)
• Ability to perform mathematical computations and use a tape measure for precise measurements
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate professionally
• Ability to lift and move 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing
• Successful completion of drug and background screening

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of automotive electrical experience in a manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or GED
