Electrician II

Responsibilities

• Install feeders and branch circuits
• Size wire and conduit
• Install and terminate switchgear, panelboards, lighting, and devices
• Install and terminate fire alarm systems equipment/devices
• Perform layout and preparation for installation
• Complete underground layout and rough-in
• Troubleshoot motors and controls
• Mentor and train apprentice electricians
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals

Requirements

• 5 years of electrical experience in healthcare, extended care, or multifamily dwellings
• Montgomery County Journeyman’s License
• Valid state driver’s license
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Extensive knowledge of high-voltage systems and NFPA 70 National Electrical Code
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
