Electrician I

Responsibilities

• Assemble harnesses, cables, switch panels, circuit boards, and various electrical components
• Install, wire, and troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry and systems
• Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, orders, and reports
• Inspect wiring installations and assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications
• Test products and verify dimensions/clearances to ensure quality standards
• Set work priorities to meet scheduled production goals
• Repair defects and report repetitive quality issues

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of automotive electronics and electrical systems
• Proficiency with 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry
• Ability to use volt meters, test lights, and other measuring devices
• Proficiency with pneumatic and power tools (e.g., drills, screw guns)
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and drawings
• Basic mathematical skills and understanding of voltage, current, and resistance
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 lbs and standing for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced automotive mechanical knowledge
• Experience with emergency vehicle electrical systems
