Electrician I

Responsibilities

• Open service orders and prepare necessary tools and instruments
• Interpret DC electrical diagrams for mobile equipment
• Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify defects
• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections
• Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment, and work areas
• Read parts catalogs and place internal material orders
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on mobile equipment
• Replace and install DC circuit components including motors, alternators, batteries, and solenoids
• Inspect and maintain air conditioning systems and drive belts
• Complete standard service reports and follow safety protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma completed
• Technical training in Electrotechnics, Electronics, or Electromechanics
