About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of complex manufacturing equipment, including CNC machining centers and process ovens
- Provide maintenance support for the installation, relocation, or modification of manufacturing equipment
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track maintenance and repairs for equipment and facilities
- Assist in the development of maintenance procedures and schedules
- Maintain a high commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced R&D environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Electricians license
- 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience
- 7+ years of experience with electrical systems and complex manufacturing equipment
- Ability to read and understand technical and electrical drawings, manuals, and reports
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities such as climbing, stooping, and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to work occasional nights, weekends, or on-call shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
