Electrician

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, lighting systems, and control panels
• Perform cable laying, glanding, termination, and testing activities
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, MCC panels, DBs, transformers, and related systems
• Conduct insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, and other electrical checks
• Assist during commissioning and pre-commissioning activities
• Follow permit-to-work (PTW) procedures and comply with HSE regulations at site
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades for smooth execution of work

Requirements

• ITI or Diploma in Electrical or relevant trade certification
• 3–5 years of experience as an Electrician in Oil & Gas, EPC, refinery, petrochemical, or industrial projects
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and equipment
• Proven experience in cable termination, panel wiring, and electrical maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Familiarity with industrial safety procedures and electrical standards
