Electrician

Responsibilities

• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot drive panels, drives, enclosures, motors, PLCs, and control devices
• Read and interpret industrial electrical schematics, blueprints, and instruction manuals to diagnose system breakdowns
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic equipment
• Assist with equipment rebuilds, plant shutdowns, and new equipment installations
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and a neat, orderly work area
• Comply with all electrical work practices and safety procedures

Requirements

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance
• Knowledge of 120/240 single phase and 480v Three Phase electrical systems
• Background in PLC and PLC logic
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Proficiency with hand and power tools (amp clamps, voltmeters, etc.)
