Electrician

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain facility infrastructure, systems, and equipment
• Perform technical repairs including replacing wiring, fuses, and electrical motors
• Execute rapid responses to abnormal facility operational situations and emergencies
• Install new electrical equipment and infrastructure as requested
• Monitor and facilitate updates to technical drawings, panel schedules, and operating procedures
• Complete job-related documentation including work orders, timesheets, and safety reports
• Collaborate with the Facilities Operations Team to ensure best-practice standards

Requirements

• Australian A Grade Electrical License or US Journeyman License
• Minimum of 4 years post-trade experience
• Low Voltage Rescue certification
• Eligibility for security clearance (NV1/TSPV or TS/SCI)
• Strong understanding of WHS Act and EHS policies
• Ability to perform physical tasks in maintenance environments, including carrying moderate to heavy loads
• Australian or US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems (SAP, Archibus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in Industrial Electrical, Power Distribution, or Industrial Control Circuits
• Understanding of VFDs
• Certifications in Working at Heights, First Aid/CPR, Forklift, or Confined Space
