Electrician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in automotive systems, including wiring harnesses, sensors, alternators, and battery systems
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical components
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software such as OBD-II scanners, multimeters, and oscilloscopes to identify issues
• Troubleshoot and repair hybrid and electric vehicle (EV) electrical systems, including high-voltage battery packs and motor controllers
• Install and service aftermarket electrical accessories like alarms, GPS systems, and audio equipment
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service history
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and PPE standards for high-voltage systems

Requirements

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in automotive electrical systems repair
• Valid certification in automotive electrical systems (ASE Electrical/Electronic Systems preferred)
• Experience working with hybrid and electric vehicles (EVs) and familiarity with high-voltage safety procedures
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and wiring schematics
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical circuits, battery systems, and control modules
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
