Electrician

Responsibilities

• Perform time-sensitive preventive and corrective maintenance on critical air traffic control and aviation rescue systems
• Execute project installation activities in accordance with prescribed processes and procedures
• Maintain accurate data entry into maintenance management systems
• Mentor and develop the technical competency of other team members
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in service delivery and work practices
• Implement enterprise governance systems including safety, environmental, and WHS policies

Requirements

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
• NSW contractor/supervisors license
• Current CPR/LVR certification
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Construction industry White Card
• Forklift license (or requirement to obtain)
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an AGSVA security clearance
• Experience with electrical systems such as power reticulation, UPS, standby generating sets, and DC power systems
