Electrician - Air Traffic Systems

Responsibilities

• Perform installation and upgrades of communications and automation systems at FAA facilities across the United States
• Work as part of a construction and installation crew to establish new or upgrade existing systems at airports and remote facilities
• Execute electrical systems installation, civil construction tasks, and electrical equipment installation tasks
• Read, interpret, and implement project drawings, specifications, and client orders and standards
• Maintain construction quality and safety best practices during all project phases

Requirements

• Licensed electrician
• 4+ years of experience in electrical installations
• Extensive experience with above and below ground electrical installations, including duct banks, manholes, steel racks, towers, and poles
• Experience with airfield systems and the use of electrical and electronics test equipment
• Ability to pass a government background check
• Ability to pass a fleet driver motor vehicle history check and meet DOT physical requirements
• Willingness to travel 100% throughout the United States, its territories, and possessions

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 30 training
• Strong customer service skills with experience working directly with site owners
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for daily and weekly reporting
