Electrician & Air Conditioning Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing maintenance, inspection, and repair of village and camp infrastructure
• Execute electrical, air conditioning, and refrigeration maintenance
• Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance across the site
• Perform routine inspections of power, water, sewer, gas, fire systems, and communications
• Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and refurbishment works
• Complete necessary reports and safety documentation
• Support the operation of a remote site environment

Requirements

• Current QLD Electrical Unrestricted Licence
• Ability and willingness to be nominated as a Qualified Technical Person (QTP)
• Current LVR/CPR certification
• Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• Current RAC01 Refrigerant Handling Licence
• QBCC Mechanical Services licence (or qualifications meeting QBCC requirements)
• Current Australian driver’s licence
• White Card and First Aid Certificate
• Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance and commercial electrical

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in camp construction or camp maintenance
• Working at Heights certification
