Electrician A

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical work and repairs on industrial and mining equipment
• Install, adjust, and maintain electrical equipment, gauges, and instruments
• Troubleshoot, evaluate, and coordinate electrical needs, repairs, and modifications
• Ensure manufacturer standards of repair and maintenance are met for all equipment
• Adhere to all CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations at all times
• Maintain high safety standards and wear proper protective equipment while on plant grounds
• Maintain good housekeeping and perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• 5 years of electrical maintenance experience
• Experience with power distribution up to 4,160 volts
• Experience with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and digital drives
• High school graduate (Associate's degree in electrical maintenance preferred)
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical sketches
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform heavy work, including lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in aggregate, cement, or heavy industrial operations
• Bilingual skills (English and Spanish)
• SAP experience
